Wall & ceiling trades

We focus on the part of the job everyone sees once the paint goes on. One crew from board to finish, so seams, corners and ceilings come out right the first time.

HANG

Drywall installation

New construction, additions and remodels. Walls and ceilings hung straight and ready to finish.

VENEER

Blueboard & veneer plaster

A hard, durable plaster finish over blueboard. The New England standard for a wall that lasts.

SKIM

Skim coating

Restore cracked, uneven or textured walls and ceilings to a smooth, paint-ready surface.

FINISH

Taping & finishing

Taping, mudding and sanding to Level 4 or Level 5. Clean seams and sharp corners.

REPAIR

Drywall repair

Holes, cracks, water damage, nail pops and damaged corners, blended to match. Small jobs welcome.

FRAME

Framing & insulation

Interior framing for walls, soffits and basements, plus insulation, prepped for board.

Also available: textured ceiling removal, ceiling repair, interior painting, flooring installation, tile and renovations.

Drywall finishes are graded by level. We'll tell you which one your space needs and put it in writing on the estimate.

L2

Behind tile

Tape embedded, one coat. For garages, utility areas and walls that get tile.

L3

Heavy texture

Two coats. Used where a heavy texture will cover the surface.

L4

Most homes

Three coats, sanded smooth. The usual finish for flat or eggshell paint.

L5

Premium smooth

Full skim coat over everything. For glossy paint, critical lighting and long walls.
